The transformation of nations begins with the transformation of homes.

Kingdom Outposts
Unlike the kingdoms of this world, the kingdom of God—God’s rule and reign on Earth in our day—moves from the inside to the outside. In the same way that yeast spreads through dough, the kingdom starts small and spreads throughout culture and the world.Occupy Till I Come
When a man and a woman come together in marriage, they form a covenant before God. When these two people are resolved to follow Jesus, this marriage becomes a beautiful advancement of the kingdom of God. This couple, through the sacred gift of sexual intimacy within marriage, may be blessed with children. This too represents a leavening of culture as little disciples are formed—for children are disciples, whether or not we recognize it. They watch, they observe, they learn, they follow, and they imitate their parents in all things.Occupy Till I Come
A Micro Nation
He revealed that the home functions as a micro nation. Since we are called to disciple nations, the home represents the most basic microcosm of these larger nations. As the home goes, so goes the nation.Occupy Till I Come
I submit that the family—and the central gathering place of the family, the home—are designed by God and flourish most fully when they exist not merely for their own members but operate with a kingdom mission to bless those outside their four walls.Occupy Till I Come
The Multiplication Effect
Nurturing family and community represents a lost art and abandoned value, yet it serves as the very foundation that holds our cities and nations together. When you live as a missional family from home, you illuminate possibilities and model the transformative power of kingdom living to others.Occupy Till I Come
The choice is before you. Will your home be merely a private retreat from the world’s chaos, or will it become a kingdom outpost—a strategic center from which God’s love, truth, and transforming power flow into your community and beyond?Occupy Till I Come
The Domain of Family
Everywhere we look, we find the wreckage of fractured families. Nevertheless, as the health of the family goes, so goes the health of the nation. This is the first institution God ordained when He created Adam and Eve—the “crescendo of creation.” God commissioned the first family to be fruitful and multiply, to guard and cultivate the garden. He assigned the cultural commission to the family. God intended for families to be built upon the covenantal relationship of marriage with God as the third person in the covenant. Families are the central unit for community and learning about relationships, as well as for educating and discipling the next generation. Where are the families who shine the light and glory of God in the darkness?Occupy Till I Come

Chapter 26 · Kingdom Outposts
The family and home are designed by God to be kingdom outposts—not merely private refuges but missional centers that bless the surrounding community and advance God’s kingdom from the inside out, with the transformation of nations beginning with the transformation of homes.
Deuteronomy 6:6–7—These words shall be on your heart, and you shall teach them diligently to your children when you sit in your house, walk by the way, lie down, and rise. Reflection: How can you integrate kingdom principles into the daily rhythms of your home life rather than compartmentalizing faith to specific times? What practical changes would help your family live out biblical truth more consistently throughout each day?
1 Peter 4:9—Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. Reflection: What barriers (e.g., fear, perfectionism, busyness, selfishness) have prevented you from embracing biblical hospitality? How might practicing generous hospitality become a strategic way for your family to advance the kingdom of God in your sphere of influence?
